Using recycled plastic bottles to make the Eco-fabric for the blazers is a fantastic way to demonstrate to children how products can go on to become something entirely different through the process of recycling. Students are proud to wear their uniforms.Headteacher, Newport Free Grammar School
We can make almost any style of blazer or jacket. We have a number of popular styles, which are explained below, however there are lots of other things possible – we advise speaking to your David Luke stockist or your sales agent to discuss requirements.
For our Junior Wool Blazers and Senior Wool Blazers, we only use woollen fabric from Hainsworth. It gives us the most consistent quality and colour in the market. Every one of our Blazers carries the Hainsworth logo and their Royal Warrant, the mark that they are one of the worlds elite fabric suppliers, fit for Her Majesty The Queen.
Our Wool Blazers are more expensive, but their durability, quality and style make them worth every penny.
David Luke started in 1982 and Hainsworth in 1783. OK they’ve got 200 years on us, but we have been working closely with them for around 15 years to provide the best Wool fabric in the schoolwear market. They hold a Royal Warrant for supplying fabrics to Her Majesty the Queen, they also supply the uniform fabrics worn by the Household Cavalry and by Prince William on his wedding day.
We offer a range of 2 and 3 button 100% Polyester Barathea weave blazers for both boys and girls. Available as a plain option or with tape or cord enhancements, in a extensive colour range.
Stripe Venetians are available in almost any colour combination. Consideration has to be given to lead times, but with planning we are able to produce exceptional Venetian Jackets and Venetian Blazers, which can give any school a very distinctive image.
The blazer looks very well made, we were pleased to read it's been made from recycled plastic. Very pleased with your product.Parent
