Design For

We're one of the UK's most profilic manufacturers of sustainably made school uniform.

We pioneered the use of uniform made from recycled polyester over a decade ago and now it's time for us to go beyond the bottle. It's time to go circular.

Designing for circularity
is so important:

  1. Reduces Waste: By designing clothing that can be used, re-purposed or recycled, the amount of waste generated by the fashion industry is reduced, which is important for reducing the environmental impact of the industry.
  2. Saves Resources: Designing clothes for circularity conserves natural resources, such as water and oil, which are used in the production of new clothing items. This helps to reduce environmental impact of the clothing industry and preserve resources for future generations.
  3. Supports Sustainability: A circular economy is important for reducing the environmental impact of the textiles industry.
  4. Improves Social Conditions: By reducing the amount of waste generated by the clothing industry, circular fashion systems can help to improve social conditions in communities that are affected by textiles waste.

We'll keep putting the best recycled materials into our Blazers and Jackets, with an aim to use garment to garment recycled material by 2028. By designing for circularity, our first drop of circular Blazers and Jackets will save 200,000 garments from landfill and once recycled, reduce our polyester production by 100,000kgs.*
